Position Description
Position summary:

Carry out space claiming, packaging & integration of components developed by EEE in both virtual & physical truck environment by methodically implementing the each electrical, geometrical & interface requirement.



Key responsibilities:

• Perform detailed packaging studies & electrical components space claiming 

• Execute detailed design of the installation components (e g brackets-sheet metal & plastic)

• Perform KOLA registration and structure of the components, drawings and CAD modules

• Provide all the documentation for the electrical components (drawings and CAD modules)

• Project Protus solving & Test vehicle structure support

• Prototype order and Test mounting together with GM

• Participate in packaging meetings lead by Packaging and Installation Leader or Geometrical Architects



Required competencies:

• Mechanical engineer 3+ year of experience

• Hands on experience in pro-e/Catia & PDM tools

• Knowledge of sheet metal & plastic design

• Good truck environment knowledge & experience in wiring harness routing
