Software Engineer - Development-140000078S Description An engineer is the basic unit of a project team who can be called upon to perform any of the tasks required for the implementation of a software project apart from project planning & tracking. 1        Quick learning on the key skills required in the Project. 2        Good team player and should able to work within a team 3        Configuration management and use of  various tools for day to day activities under guidance from  senior members  and work  independently after 6  months 4        Assist the Junior or Senior members of team in design & development of new features and test case writing and execution. 5        Adaptability and flexibility to work with other team members  and contribute to project with  stretch in critical times of project life cycle. 6        Quick ramp up on the existing product/process and suggest the new ways To improve the existing product/process for better performance/cost saving. For the product development and adaptability to take their role with minimum supervision.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: (Responsibilities)                     1.      Requirements Analysis 2.      Software Design 3.      Software Coding 4.      Software Testing 5.      Process Adherence 6.      Skill-set enhancement as per job requirements Qualifications TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS (Academics, Professional, etc.) ESSENTIAL - §         B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA / BIT / MIT §         Advance knowledge of Unix/Linux §         Expert ease in C/C++ §         Java AWT, Swings §         Strong knowledge of SQL, PL-SQL, Cursors, Pro C++ §         Working knowledge of SOAP protocol §         Shell scripting §         Knowledge of INAP, ISUP, INCSx, CAMEL, MAP, SIP, CORBA, Oracle, Perl, TCP/IP §         Aptitude / interest in telecom network. PREFERRED –  §         Good understanding of Telecom Networks like PSTN, GSM, GPRS §         Working experience on telecom Networks NM: §         Working Experience in Network Management Systems §         Knowledge of OOA & OOD, CORBA, XML, J2EE, EJB, UML/Rose, UNIX TOOLS: §         Rational Clearcase, Eclipse Job :-  Research and Development Primary Location :- Asia Pacific-India-Gurgaon Schedule :-  Full-time
