Role Overview:

EY is hiring an Associate-Resource Management to join our Experience Management team in Kochi. As part of our Assurance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring effective resource scheduling and utilization. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with a keen interest in resource management, workforce planning, and general operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Update Resource Schedules: Maintain and update resource schedules on scheduling tools (e.g., ARMS/Retain) promptly.

· Conflict Resolution: Review and resolve scheduling conflicts efficiently.

· Resource Availability: Monitor and review resource availability and requirements proactively.

· Mailbox Management: Manage mailbox requests and address scheduling inquiries within defined TAT.

· Utilization Optimization: Ensure optimal resource utilization through effective schedule management.

· Reporting & Analysis: Conduct basic reporting and analysis to support resource management.

Skills and Attributes:

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Basic knowledge of MS Excel and general office software.

· Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.

· Positive attitude and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications:

· Graduates with 0-3 years of experience in resource management, workforce management, or general operations are preferred.

· Strong acumen in resource management is advantageous.

The Opportunity

Business Analysts will apply analytical knowledge areas and in-depth analysis of the business to uncover its true problems, understand its objectives, define the relevant requirements, business rules and identify design elements to support the application functions. Business Analysts have strong problem-solving skills and interact regularly with various professionals to generate value for the business. Business Analysts have several key touch points through the product lifecycle and will ensure that the solution will enable the business to achieve its objectives.

Your Key Responsibilities

· Participate in planning and assist in facilitating requirements workshops with business to scope, gather, understand, and analyze business requirements, and translate business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements.

· Apply business analysis knowledge areas to plan, elaborate, assimilate, and analyze business requirements and rules applicable for the operations and benefit of the business.

· Construct analytical models, define business processes, and identify operations to develop a comprehensive understanding of business units and requirements, and maintain an understanding of the technical implications of risks, assumptions, and dependencies.

· Help to translate business requirements into technical requirements and specifications, investigate and identify non-functional requirements for system architectural design and development.

· Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities to decompose different business models, specify critical functions, and identify inter-dependencies for design considerations.

· Build working rapport with business and SMEs to analyze business requirements and understand business perspectives on future state.

· Organize work in a way that appropriately prioritizes the needs of multiple internal and external stakeholders.

· Produce, with limited supervision, complete and accurate business analysis work - using industry standard methodologies - to specify business requirements.

· Participate and engage with business and technology stakeholders to clarify application functions, business processes, and data flow to align requirements specification and technology capabilities in addressing business expectations.

· Help to integrate the solution into business workstreams, which may include the provision of enablement materials and training agenda to facilitate adoption and transition the product into the business cycle.

· Maintain an understanding of risks, assumptions, and dependencies associated with the business and technical requirements, identify any blockers and flag as appropriate, and assist with scope management activities including the identification and impact assessment of change.

· Verify through different testing practices (ex. UAT) to validate the solutions meet the functional specifications and propose credible suggestions to effectively resolve business challenges.

· Demonstrate and support the Business Architecture & Analysis (BAA) community on knowledge base to elevate business analysis competencies.

· Ability to plan, implement, and apply business analysis knowledge areas to scope work effort and capture business requirements for further analysis, and help to prioritize features to produce required business outcomes.

· Experience in developing technical requirements and specifications, including knowledge of software development methodologies and reporting tools.

· Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) - able to identify, articulate, and present business situations, options, and benefits.

· Familiarity with value propositions incorporating broader enterprise view of the business operations, encompassing functional analysis, workflow analysis, impact analysis (organization, cost) and risk analysis.

· Experience in conducting functional walkthroughs and addressing FAQs to integrate solution into business activities.

· Ability to engage and collaborate in diverse settings of people.

· A sense of urgency, decisiveness, and ability to work well under pressure.

· Ability to listen and to think independently, and be a curious and creative person.

· Familiarity with industry-based business analysis knowledge areas including business process modeling and notation.

· Broad understanding of IT Services, including service offerings, technical standards and policies, technical and business strategies.

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have

· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.

· Minimum 0 to 1 years of experience of interacting with business to define business operations, workflows, and technology solutions.

· Some experience in consulting services with a consistent record to creatively assist clients with their business challenges and objectives.

· Experience in one or more industries or sectors, applying business analysis core knowledge areas with broad knowledge of current and new technologies.

· Experience in Agile framework participating directly in Agile practices and producing common artifacts.

· Strong confirmed experience in either an internal or external business analysis role, or similar, evidenced by adding significant business value through research, challenging the status quo where appropriate, supplying material improvement ideas, and developing/communicating full business cases.

· Good technical knowledge and experience in applying business analysis skills, delivering IT solutions, providing comprehensive understanding of business requirements.
