About the Role
As a Junior Engineer Planning at
Emerson, you will:
·
Prepare and
support material plans for backlog and service level
reporting.
·
Develop Quarterly,
Monthly, Weekly, and Daily production plans.
·
Review sales
orders, provide promise dates, and ensure on-time delivery.
·
Coordinate
with procurement, warehouse, and QA/QC teams to expedite work orders.
·
Participate
in planning-related growth programs and strategic
operations plans.
Key Responsibilities
·
Prepare and
maintain production schedules and material plans.
·
Review and
update sales orders based on material availability and production capacity.
·
Expedite
purchase and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
·
Release work
orders to the shop floor and monitor progress.
·
Maintain
planning files and ensure accurate documentation.
·
Support inventory
management and root cause analysis for service
issues.
Qualifications
·
Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical,
Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
·
Experience:
o Minimum 2+ years of
experience in planning and scheduling.
o Proficiency in ERP systems (Fourth
Shift and Oracle preferred).
·
Skills:
o Strong command of MS Office (Excel,
Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
o Basic knowledge of finance
and costing.
o Excellent communication and
problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience
in production planning and material management.
·
Knowledge
of inventory management and supply chain processes.
·
Proactive,
self-motivated, and quick learner.
