🛠 Role Overview – Associate Software Engineer

As an Associate Software Engineer, you’ll work on all phases of the software development lifecycle, from coding and testing to documentation and deployment. You will engage in agile workflows, build scalable applications, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet our user needs.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer I at Kaplan North America, you will create responsive and elegant web applications that scale. Your work will involve close collaboration with platform owners, UX designers, and other subject matter experts to create lasting impressions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, create, debug, optimize, and release full-stack web applications.

· Implement best web standards, accessibility, and SEO practices.

· Optimize web applications for speed and scalability.

· Perform code reviews of pull requests.

· Work closely with QA analysts for feature and regression testing.

· Drive continuous improvement of best practices within the development team.

· Hybrid Schedule: 3 days remote / 2 days in office.

· 30-day notification period preferred.

· Perform any other tasks as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. /B.S.) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent.

· 1+ year of experience.
