Server Support:
Installation and configuration of servers (windows 2003 server), user management
Desktop Support:
Providing support on Windows 98/Win2K Professional/ Windows XP platforms on various kinds of problems related to OS/ Applications/ Network/ Hardware etc., escalating the issues with various Vendors and to get the problem rectified within a short time and thus ensuring the No/ less downtime for the End Users.
Other Activities:
Ø Responsible for Maintenance, Installation, and Configuration of all Microsoft Windows
Ø Supporting for Windows based Systems, And regular Monitoring and updating critical Security and Anti-virus patches for Servers and Desktops
Ø Microsoft outlook, configuration like configuration of personal folder, moving mail to personal folder, setting of rules, off line file configuration, delegation of control.
Ø Up gradation of desktop (OS up gradation/ RAM/ HDD)
Ø Supporting Laptop, which includes software problem (OS updation, MS office patch installation) hardware up gradation (like up gradation of RAM, HDD etc.) & hardware problem
Ø Supporting users in various office and troubleshooting their problem remotely using VNC/ Remote Desktop Connection Attending LAN problems like switch problem, IP address problem, crimping and lying of network cable, changing of Network cards.
