The person we are currently after will, in their own right need to be with the following characteristics:
* Able to create user interfaces and support backend from scratch
* Able to work on CMS platforms such as Wordpress, Drupal & Joomla
* Able to not only implement, but also innovate and suggest improvements (both process and code)
* Can lead/nurture younger programmers into independent developers
* Has a fair knowledge of the whole LAMP stack, especially PHP and MySQL
We are not good at spoon feeding - so we are after problem solvers. If you were here last few weeks in this position, you would have:
* Worked on world class websites and systems for our clients
* Setup a server architecture for a new clients, including suggesting improvements to the framework
* Helped seamlessly integrate different pieces of code for the same process so that if flows step by step properly
* Heavily customised Joomla, Drupal and Wordpress while integrating payment gateways and setting up shopping carts
* Worked with graphic designers and our account managers to brief and provide feedback for great designs for clients
* Integrated beautiful, custom designs in to these CMSs
* Tested the systems created and modified bugs
We want people who:
* Are currently in Bangalore
* Can start within 30 days notice period
* Want to work in a startup environment (and have an entrepreneurial instinct); want to be a big cog in a small machine, not a small cog in a big machine
* Want to work in the Unix/Linux environment with LAMP stack
