| Job Description | About the Role and Responsibilities Lead Engineer /Sr. SW QA Engineer Position Location: Bangalore About the Role: This person will be responsible for REST API development for the Network Security Management (NSM) software for McAfee’s Network Security Platform. This position is for experienced individuals with white box testing design and methodologies. API developed will be incorporated into the test framework to test the NSM and measure code coverage and work towards increasing the code coverage. Key Responsibilities: - Understand the product/module requirement: Network Security Manager Testing & Automation. - Come up with required REST API needed and strategize increasing of the code coverage for the NSM software. - Run BVT (Basic verification Test) and measure code coverage. - Setting up and maintaining a QA test bed and process for the Network Security Manager. - Interaction with design teams and working towards resolving bugs, ensuring that the product meets the quality expectations. Qualifications Required Experience/Skills & Education: The candidate should have around 4+ years of experience with exposure to white box testing. - Mandatory : Object-oriented analysis and design, Core Java, JUnit - Nice to have : Web Services, SOAP, REST, Eclipse, SOAPUI, SQL, HTML, CSS, J2EE - Certifications : SCJP, SCBCD, SCWCD - Testing Automation Tools & Technologies: Junit, TestNG, Fitnesse, Selenium etc. - Hands on experience with security is a plus. - Knowledge of Unix, Linux, Windows OS.
