"As the
Infra Engineer you will serve as the technical resource for Amdocs Qpass Managed
Application Services Infrastructure Group. You will apply expert-level
knowledge of application and middleware platform functionality, performance and
operational details, as team member in all efforts to improve Qpass ability to
manage, grow, tune, and operate production instances of Amdocs. Provide ongoing
documentation and instruction in integration and Middleware operational skills
to other members of Qpass Group, and facilitate interactions between Qpass and
Middleware vendor Support.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide leadership and hands-on work in the following areas for Production application integration platform maintenance with respect to Oracle Weblogic Server (WLS) or Apache Tomcat instances and other application libraries:

- Design and Implementation of
Monitoring System
- Installation and upgrade of
Amdocs Digital Services (DCM, DDI, CW, Search, Products) (involves
Integration & Middleware tasks)
- Deployment of build artifacts on
middleware application servers (Weblogic/Websphere) as well as Oracle
database
- Managing, developing and
implementing Infra Housekeeping scripts to automate regular tasks
- Troubleshoot ENV issues
(middleware/Unix)
- Documentation of procedures
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establishes, Documents and
Communicates Standards on application and platform
- Performs and Documents Effective
Tuning, Monitoring, Security Practices for the Various Environments
- Researches, Recommends and
Deploys Appropriate Tools and Procedures for Support for Use by Systems

Skills Required (Mandatory):
EDUCATION/ TRAINING REQUIRED:
BTech in Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent experience required.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Limited tier 2 on-call responsibilities during non-business hours in support of the various Amdocs environments.
2. Occasional extended work weeks required to meet project commitments.
