Software Support Engineer required by Techmetics solutions pte ltd in Chennai, Singapore

Job Description
Responsible for delivery of assigned tasks within the delivery cycle of a project.  Understands a broad spectrum of the product design and back end web control panel working to deliver part of a detailed technical design, as per customer requirement. Tasks may include and vary from, sandbox testing of finished product, installing the product at the client premises(Both Local and International clients - PASSPORT MANDATORY), entering client data into the system, customization of product as per client needs and onsite/online/phone support for all client enquires after deployment and implementation, documentation of all steps of troubleshooting, updating the Support Knowledge base with information on a regular basis.  Works with minimal direction from the technical lead and with customer nominated representatives to accomplish assigned tasks. Contributes to design for specific deliverables and assists in the development of technical solutions. Participates as part of a team and maintains good relationships with team members and customers.  Uses knowledge tools and reuses information for the benefit of projects, and of professional development. INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL ON SHORT NOTICE.

Education:
UG - B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization, B.Sc - Any Specialization, Computers, BCA - Computers
Education and Experience Required:

1- 3 year of technical experience and a Bachelor degree in computer science or related area of study; two additional years of relevant professional experience (2 - 3 years in total) is preferred.

Knowledge and Skills Required:


Able to travel to local and International Location as and when needed on a short notice.
Valid PASSPORT holder.
Has sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to be individually responsible for the implementation of a specific deliverable. 
Able to multi task and take up multiple projects when needed
Has ability to perform/drive resolution of problems on individual products.
Able to communicate broad and specific concepts with team and to peers. 
Strong networking concepts knowledge.
Able to produce documentation for use by team and customer.
Strong command of the English language.
