Skymap Global is a leading provider of satellite derived
products for various industries. With our partner company EOMAP with
headquarters in Germany, we produce and market maps of aquatic environments for
offshore industries and environmental agencies, using sophisticated processing
technologies to derive bathymetry and seafloor habitat maps worldwide. We now
want to expand our team of specialists to generate ambitious marine products
using physics based data processing chains.
Job Description
- Data processing of satellite data to generate sophisticated map products, using physics based data processing technologies.
- Compiles data to prepare navigational charts and maps.
- Predicting atmospheric condition and environmental reports.
- Implementation and maintenance of quality control procedures for our production chains with the team in Germany.
- Foster technical solution, enhance project execution efficiency and ensure effective team participation.
- Participate hands-on in project activity to gain familiarity with geologic and geophysical objectives as well as risks for client.
- Update client on technical matters and help manage expectations.
- Support Field Engineers in recommending ways to acquire the best dataset.
Education:
UG - B.Sc - Geology, Physics
PG - M.Sc - Geology, Physics
PG - M.Sc - Geology, Physics
- Knowledge of optics and related technology for Imagery analysis is a plus.
- Able to work in different time zones.
- Candidate must have experience in scripting language & C++
- Must have programming background.
- Must be an expert in image processing software and satellite data processing.
- Excellent communication skills and team spirit.
- Work in teams
