Qualifications
Good expertise on PERL, Skill and C programming. Excellent software/programming background. Must have developed/demonstrated independent software development on at least 2-3 critical projects of 6-9 months duration. Good understanding of analog design flow and related tools. Preferred Qualifications & Skills Understanding of leading Analog design tool suites (eg Cadence Virtuoso, Simulator – SPECTRE. Assura/QRC DRC/LVS). Familiar with database management like tools like Clearcase, DesignSync. Primary and Secondary Responsibilities: Understand and support third party Analog EDA – especially Cadence Virtuoso. Design, develop and support of software programs and automation required for TI-Analog Design teams. Design modules and create a generic database of code modules for Analog EDA. Review the complete code suites, run various checkers, fill QC forms and document minutes. Gather new requirements and design software modules to meet those. Document the automation/software requirements periodically and maintain database for the same. Work with WW EDA Teams, Third Party Analog Tool Vendors (eg Cadence) and Analog designers on these. Unique Selling Features of the Job EDA plays an enabler role to all Analog business units. This position provides an opportunity to contribute to TI’s Analog business by leading software & automation to improve productivity and tool experience of Analog designers. Opportunity to work on continuously improving the software and tool capabilities of analog design flow. Gives exposure to all Analog design units – which is the core of TI’s business |
