Job Description & Qualifications
|
- Ensure
compliance with environmental regulations at new and existing Ford
manufacturing facilities in India. Support Ford global
environmental initiatives and programs in Asia Pacific.
- Ensure
robust legal compliance and conformance with Ford environmental
standards for new and existing manufacturing operations within AP.
- Provide
regulatory and environmental engineering support during development of
new facility EIAs. Ensure EIAs are secured in a timely manner to
support program timing requirements.
- Monitor
and document environmental design requirements related to new or
modified infrastructure and manufacturing operations.
- Actively
participate in routine project team meetings to provide environmental
support, monitor facility and process-related field engineering, and
promote Ford global environmental standards and the replication of Ford
environmental sustainability initiatives.
- Participate
in project teams to ensure regulatory and Company environmental global
standards/requirements are appropriately implemented.
- Support
implementation of Ford sustainability programs.
- Monitor
project work for environmental compliance.
- Work
with EQO global staff, AP Manufacturing, and the plant launch teams to
develop and integrate Ford Environmental Operating System (EOS) into the
plant's standard operating systems.
- Support
the completion of environmental site assessments conducted to support
property transactions.
- Routinely
evaluate facility performance on AP Manufacturing Environmental Business
Plan metrics, targets and objectives. Develop and implement
action plans as necessary to achieve goals.
