Position Description: 

MSFS Risk and Documentation Team is looking for a staff member to join the Mumbai office and support the following functions: 

 AML work, including the review of output from certain computerized systems used to recognize the risk of money laundering presented by persons relevant to MSFS business operations; providing support in matters relating to investor identification, sanctions screening, and due diligence.

Due Diligence inquiries – helping to organize the tracking of investor requests for information and compiling information in response to such requests. The candidate must be able to manage a steady inflow of inquiries, provide responses based upon previously agreed acceptable responses, coordinate with clients for permission to address inquiries, and coordinate with Morgan Stanley Fund Services staff when necessary to fill any information gaps presented by investor inquiries.

Required experience:  0-3years

Once hired, the employee will report to a senior manager in Mumbai, and, to a second senior manager in New York. 

Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills for the position:

o    Primary Qualification—A graduate in commerce with excellent communication skills;

o    Any master’s degree (e.g. MBA) is useful;

o    Excellent client/investor management skills.  The role involves managing investor’s expectations and interfacing with clients as to the data that may be disclosed;

• The ideal candidate will have an interest in developing a broader understanding of MSFS policies and procedures, as much of the information requested involves both daily accounting and monthly subscription/redemption/AML procedures;

• Strong written communication skills;

• Ability to work both independently and with team members;

• Attention to detail
