The primary purpose of this role is to provide general
administrative support to the various teams & execute the IT process
together with any associated & resultant activities in order to help
support Allscripts products/engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Acts as initial point of contact for user support calls to the I.T. Helpdesk, (i.e., call logging, acknowledgement and closure) in order that all calls are logged correctly and promptly, and allocated appropriately within the IT team
- Provides first-line technical support when handling calls, in order to provide time-of-call resolution to more basic support calls wherever possible
- Provides an ad-hoc support service to users of all computer systems, troubleshooting and resolving systems problems
- Carries out prescribed program of system performance monitoring, measurement, management and capacity planning for computer systems, in order that a pro-active approach may be taken to meeting changing system demands
- Maintains awareness of test and / or quality standards
Qualifications:
Academic and professional qualifications:
- Associate's degree desirable
Experience:
- 0-2 year professional experience
Travel:
- Little to no travel is required in this role
