Cisco is hiring for the role of Software Consulting Engineer Intern!

Responsibilities of the Intern:

• Build revolutionary applications with the use of Data Structures, Algorithms, Object-oriented design, and programming
• Work with customers and their team leads to create and execute customer IT transformation
• Build early engagement with the customer, and gather requirements for solution delivery and execution of the solution
• Develop Cloud-based applications (using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services) with security and scalability
• Test inclination to ensure programs are comprehensive and well tested for all use cases
• Debug application programs along with development and tools 
• Create sustainable User experience and User interface design and development (MEAN Stack)

Requirements:

• Recent graduate or in your final year of studies towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, related majors such as math, physics
• Minimum of an 8.5 GPA or higher
• The requirement is for 2023 graduates only
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering with an aptitude for learning new technologies
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering with an aptitude for learning new technologies
• Strong knowledge of programming and scripting languages like JAVA, Python, Scala, GoLong, etc. 
• Strong knowledge of programming and scripting languages
• Familiar with CI/CD tools namely GIT, GitHub, Jenkins, etc.
• Familiar with more than one development environment, well-versed with at least one
• Possess creative problem-solving skills and excellent troubleshooting/debugging skills
• Experience in establishing and sustaining excellent relationships with the extended team
• Excellent verbal and written skills
