Eligibility Criteria for Dassault Systemes
Recruitment 2022:
- BE or equivalent experience in Mechanical
Engineering and User Experience Design or a related area such as Graphic
Design, Interaction Design, Product Design, or Multimedia Design.
- A 1-2 years of previous experience as a UX
Designer is required.
- A portfolio of previous design work.
- Previous experience with SOLIDWORKS or other 3D
software is desirable, but not required.
- Previous work experience in technology,
engineering, or design is desirable.

Job Description:
- As a member of a multi-disciplinary User
Experience (UX) Design team, you will be responsible for all aspects of UX
and usability for SOLIDWORKS mechanical design software products. You will
be responsible for engaging and developing professional solutions, by
providing UX support from initial design to product release. You are
required to have a strong background in CAD. Knowledge of SOLIDWORKS
design / 3DModelling will be good to have.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participating in research, planning, and design
of functionality for SolidWorks products.
- Creating wireframes and User Interface (UI)
concept mockups.
- Creating low, medium, and high fidelity UI
prototypes.
- Writing UI specifications.
- Conducting user research and usability tests.
- Leading team critique and design review
sessions
- Mentoring team members in UX Design methods and
skills
Skills:
- Sketch and express ideas quickly and fluidly.
- Create wireframes and other UI concept
prototypes.
- Discuss design ideas and design rationale, both
orally and in writing.
- Conduct usability tests and other forms of user
research and feedback.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Mentor team members
