About ISRO : The Indian Space Research Organisation is the
national space agency of India, headquartered in Bangalore. It operates under
the Department of Space which is directly overseen by the Prime Minister of
India, while the Chairman of ISRO acts as the executive of DOS as well. It is
one of six government space agencies in the world which possess full launch
capabilities, deploy cryogenic engines, launch extraterrestrial
missions and operate large fleets of artificial satellites.

both civilian and military domains in various aspects including disaster
management, telemedicine and navigation and reconnaissance

The Indian National
Committee for Space Research (INCOSPAR) was established by Jawaharlal
Nehru under the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) in 1962, on
the urging of scientist Vikram Sarabhai, recognising the need in space
research. INCOSPAR grew and became ISRO in 1969, within DAE.

2023 Eligibility Criteria :
Educational Qualifications:
Heavy Vehicle Driver:
- Any other requirement of the Motor Vehicle Act
of Tamil Nadu State should be met within 3 months from the date of joining
the post.
- 5 years experience out of which 3 years as
HVD(should be acquired after obtaining valid HVD license)
- Experience Certificate should only be from
Government/Semi-Government agencies/ Registered Companies/Societies/Trusts,
etc,
- Experience Certificates from individuals will
not be accepted.
- Part-Time Experience will not be considered for
the experience.
Light Vehicle Driver:
- Pass in SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th Std.
- Must possess a valid LVD license
- Must possess a Public Service Badge
- Any other requirement of the Motor Vehicle Act
of Tamil Nadu State should be met within 3 months from the date of joining
the post.
- 3 years experience as LVD(should be acquired
after obtaining a valid LVD license.
- Experience Certificates should only be from
Government/Semi-Government agencies/Registered Companies/Societies/Trusts,
etc.
- Experience Certificates from individuals will
not be accepted.
- Part-Time Experience will not be considered for
the experience.
Fireman ‘A’:
- Pass in SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th Std.
- Should satisfy the prescribed Physical Fitness
Standards.
Salary Package:
- Technical
Assistant – Rs.44,900-1,42,400/month
- Technician
‘B’ / Draughtsman ‘B’ – Rs.21,700-69,100/month
- Heavy
Vehicle Driver / Light
Vehicle Driver – Rs.19,900-63,200/month
- Fireman
‘A’ – Rs.19,900-63,200/month.
Selection Process:
The selection process will be
based on a written test/interview.
