Job Description
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Technician Trainee, you
will be responsible for various activities related to the operation of a
production unit/area assigned to you. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Controlling and monitoring all parameters of
the Central Control Room (CCR) in the assigned plant.
- Recording and entering daily production reports
into the system or manually in log sheets.
- Maintaining a clean operating area and
observing Good Housekeeping Practices (GHK).
- Carrying out all other jobs related to the
production function and acting on work-related instructions from seniors.
- Maintaining the required safety standards and
adhering to the plant's safety protocols.
- Checking systems as per the methods mentioned
in the plant ISO manual.
- Maintaining and monitoring safety/emergency
systems for the assigned plant.
- Ensuring tools and equipment are in a proper
state and well-maintained.
- Taking regular plant rounds to check for any
anomalies or abnormalities and reporting them.
Preferred Skills:
To excel in this role, the
following skills and qualifications are preferred:
- ITI/ATS AOCP (Industrial Training
Institute/Advanced Training Scheme in Attendant Operator Chemical Plant)
with exposure to production functions.
- Ability to read and write English effectively.
- Experience in operating the SAP PP (Production
Planning) module.
- Ability to plan and visualize tasks ahead of
their actual performance, making informed decisions and handling the
complexity of details involved.
- Requires coordination of multiple jobs
simultaneously.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- ITI/ATS AOCP with 0 to 3 years of experience in
production functions.
