📌 About the Role
As a Junior VAT Analyst, you will support VAT, GST, and sales tax
compliance processes across multiple jurisdictions. You’ll work on periodic
reporting, data validation, reconciliation, and statutory tax submissions,
contributing to the firm’s financial transparency and compliance standards.
📋 Key Responsibilities
·
Prepare periodic indirect tax
reporting forms and submissions.
·
Review transactional records for tax
accuracy and deductibility.
·
Ensure compliance with local
statutory tax laws.
·
Maintain and reconcile VAT GL
accounts monthly.
·
Use tax reporting tools for control
checks and analysis.
·
Support invoice quality checks with
accounting teams.
·
Provide feedback on tax payable
amounts and records accuracy.
·
Track changes in VAT/GST laws for
assigned jurisdictions.
·
Participate in finance team projects
under senior mentorship.
🎓 Qualifications & Skills
·
Bachelor’s degree in Finance,
Accounting, or related field (required).
·
1–4 years of experience in indirect
tax preferred (fresh graduates also considered).
·
CA semi-qualified candidates highly
preferred.
·
Basic understanding of VAT/GST
regimes.
·
Strong analytical, communication, and
organizational skills.
·
Proficiency in working with ERP
systems and reporting tools.
·
Ability to manage time effectively
and work in a dynamic environment.
