🛠 Role Overview – Associate, Site Reliability Engineer
In this role, you will ensure the reliability, scalability,
and performance of Pfizer’s cloud infrastructure and applications. You’ll
collaborate with SREs, developers, product owners, and data engineers to
optimize workflows, automate repetitive processes, and maintain cost-effective,
secure systems.
📌 Key Responsibilities
·
Deliver high-quality
software and infrastructure in an agile environment.
·
Support SRE
strategy to optimize performance, scalability, and reliability.
·
Build
cost-effective, secure, and high-performance systems.
·
Maintain and
optimize AWS Cloud infrastructure performance and cost.
·
Automate
manual processes to improve operational efficiency.
·
Extend and
optimize CI/CD pipelines.
·
Create and
maintain monitoring solutions.
·
Maintain
deployment and release documentation.
·
Collaborate
with cross-functional teams to enhance applications.
🎯 Basic Qualifications
·
Bachelor’s
or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
·
Minimum 1
year of experience in technology operations or software development.
·
Hands-on
experience with:
o Kubernetes/EKS
o AWS EC2, EKS, EBS, EFS, S3, RDS, MSK
o GitHub Actions or similar CI tools
·
Proficiency
with at least 3 of the following tools: Terraform, Docker, FluxCD/ArgoCD,
Ansible, Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/ECK, Dynatrace.
·
Strong
scripting skills in Bash plus at least one language (Java, JavaScript, C#,
Python).
·
Operational
experience with SQL & NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
·
Knowledge of
microservices architecture and cloud computing.
🌟 Preferred Qualifications
·
Experience
with large-scale software deployment and troubleshooting.
·
Certified
Kubernetes Administrator or AWS Solutions Architect.
·
Familiarity
with Agile/Scrum or SAFe frameworks.
·
Experience
with JIRA and Confluence.
