As a Graduate Apprentice Trainee
at Volvo’s Hosakote plant, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting in
process improvement projects to identify and eliminate MURI (overburden),
MURA (unevenness), MUDA (waste) in the assembly line.

Monitoring and
managing live-time production data; working with Team Leaders (TLs) and
Production Leaders (PLs) to maintain accurate KPI / PI records.

Collecting and
analyzing data related to ANDON triggers and quality remarks;
contributing to root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions.

Conducting video
study analysis to optimize work methods, reduce cycle time, and improve
process flow.
·
Supporting
digitalisation efforts on the shop floor (production digitization).
·
Participating
in safety initiatives: spotting unsafe conditions, risk assessments, and
reporting.
·
Tracking and
updating WIP (Work-In-Progress) status of vehicles; ensuring proper
documentation of production flow.

Performing
daily Gemba walks to identify abnormalities or deviations in the
process.
·
Assisting the In-Process
Quality (IMQ) team in random inspections of assembly.

Managing data:
maintaining KPI / PI data, preparing daily and weekly performance reports.

Supporting
trials, validations, and implementation of process improvements or engineering
changes.
