🎯 Role Purpose

As part of the Data & Analytics function, you will:

· Translate raw data into meaningful dashboards and KPIs

· Deliver accurate and timely insights to support strategic decision-making

· Identify and manage potential operational and financial risks

· Contribute to automated reporting processes that improve efficiency

🔧 Key Responsibilities

· Design and develop reports and dashboards using Tableau, SQL, or similar tools

The Team

The Data Analyst team at S&P Global is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and generating meaningful insights from various data sources. Our team covers different business lines, including Fundamentals, Filings & Sourcing, Translations, and more. We actively monitor global industry trade publications, websites, and news aggregators to provide the most accurate and reliable content, helping our clients make confident decisions.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

· Data Collation & Analysis: Collect, analyze, extract, and enter Financial/Non-Financial Data into work tools according to guideline specifications for the assigned vertical.

· Workflow Understanding: Understand the dataset, workflows, and tools, and have a strong working knowledge of them.

· Process Improvement: Provide input for new data collection methods and suggest product enhancements related to the dataset.

· Target Delivery: Achieve individual and team targets by delivering high-quality outcomes.

· Troubleshooting & Support: Address issues, support team members, and work on enhancing workflow and processes.

· Error Correction & Process Refinement: Review feedback to correct errors and refine processes, improving data accuracy and quality.

· Cross-Department Collaboration: Participate in process improvement projects, including LEAN/automation projects, and engage in continuous learning.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should have:

· Educational Qualification: Post-Graduate or MBA in Finance (specialization) with a good academic track record (graduating in 2025).

· Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

· Finance Knowledge: Strong understanding of corporate finance/accountancy, including financial statements and annual reports.

· Research Skills: Familiarity with secondary research sources and the ability to conduct efficient thematic online research.

· Technical Skills: Knowledge or certification in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic quantitative, analytical, and interpretive skills.

· Willingness to Work in Shifts: Flexibility to work in a 24x5 environment on rotational shifts, including night shifts.
