WASE (Wipro Academy of Software Excellence)

WASE (Wipro Academy of Software Excellence) is a pioneering effort of Wipro Technologies started in 1995, in preparing some of the best BSc and BCA graduates to face the challenges presented in the ever-changing world of Information Technology, by giving them right kind of training.

With the live project exposure, this program provides an opportunity to pursue an 8-semester (four years) off-campus Collaborative MS Program from Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani. The degree is equivalent to any ME/M.Tech degree awarded by any Indian Universities. It is a regular program under Wipro-BITS Collaborative Initiatives. The company also provides an attractive stipend for the selected WASE  candidates

Eligibility Criteria: ( for BSC / BCA )

• BCA and BSc (CSc/ Maths/ Non-Medical/ Electronics /IT/Physics /Statistics) passing out in 2012.
• Must have had Maths as one of the subjects in PU/ XIIth

Academics

• X – 50% or higher
• XII – 50% oR higher
• BSc/BCA – Aggregate of 60% (I & II Year together)
• Aggregate calculation: - Sum of marks obtained in all semesters/ years divided by Total Maximum marks). An aggregate of 59.9 will not be considered as equal to 60%

After joining WASE, you will receive a monthly stipend

• During the first three months of the academic year Rs.7,500/-
• From 4th to 12th month of the first academic year Rs.10,000/-
• During the third academic year Rs.18,000/-
• During the fourth academic year Rs.23,000/-

ü  Hard copy of resume, College ID (original & photocopy) is to be brought by the candidate.

ü  You need to carry 2 passport size photographs, all the original certificates {10^th  , 12^th and Graduation ( till latest semester)} & 1 set of photocopies of certificates with you at the time of test.

ü  You need to carry cardboard, pencils, Erasers, Sharpeners & pens.
