Graduate Engineering Trainee - Tech. Publications required by | UTC Aerospace Systems
Job Description
Responsibilities of the Technical Publications Engineer are varied and may include but not be
limited to:

1. Creation / Revision of Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs), Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMMs), Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC) for Electromechanical assemblies.

2. Organize material and complete authoring assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and/or terminology.

3. Write procedures, functional descriptions by interpreting schematics and circuit diagram.Basic Qualifications:Qualification: BE /B-Tech in Electronics
Experience: 0 to 1 year

1. Adobe Frame maker, Adobe Professional.
2. Familiarity with illustration tools (IsoDraw).
3. Epic editor / Ultra XML will add advantage.
4. Good knowledge on ATA 100, ATA iSpec 2200, Simplified Technical English.
5. Knowledge on S1000D will add advantage.
6. Ability to read and interpret Engineering Drawings, Electronic Circuit Schematics, Functional Diagrams, Printed Circuit Boards etc
7. Ability to author Functional / Circuit description based on schematics and circuit diagram.
8. Ability to create Assembly / repair procedures for electronic components independently

Good verbal and technical writing skills
Must be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
