Role Summary/Purpose
|
Responsible for concept development and implementation of
R&D tasks in a collaborative global team environment on projects as
applied to Power conditioning, UPS, Motors/Drives, Renewable Energy and Power
Supplies.

Essential Responsibilities
|
Responsible for implementation of R&D tasks in a
collaborative global team environment on projects as applied to Power
conditioning, UPS, Motors/Drives, Renewable Energy and Power Supplies;
Principal responsibilities include: concept formulation, analysis/modeling,
design and validation of power electronics circuits and systems. Should be
able to deliver on technical projects with minimum supervision in the area of
power conversion.

Qualifications/Requirements
|
M.S. in Electrical Engineering, with focus on Power
Electronics. Strong theoretical and experimental background in power
electronic circuits and systems including circuit topologies,
electromagnetics, power semiconductor devices, thermal analysis/design, high
frequency power conversion; Experience working with high frequency circuit
topologies is a Plus. Expertise in simulation tools such as Saber, PSpice and
Matlab/Simulink and hands-on experience in application of power electronic
circuits is required.

Desired Characteristics
|
Hands on experience with power conversion topologies,
particularly high frequency switching topologies. Knowledge of Distributed
Generation Interconnection and Energy Storage Device
Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as a part of the team. |
