Job Description
|
Main Purpose:
To ensure, maintain and upkeep health of all Civil Structures, civil buildings, roofs, foundations etc. inside Steel Works through timely repair/ maintenance. Ensure compliance to repair based on Civil Inspection and CRMS, including certification of repair jobs. Key Deliverables: 1. Safety 1.1. Ensure compliance against safety guidelines of company and national standard 2. Policy Management 2.1. Implement Departmental policies for thrust areas Life Extension, Elimination of Rework, Implementation of IT-Based System on SAP-PM & Lotus Notes SAMPARK for tracking compliance of Repair of Civil Building/ plant structures/ RCC Chimneys at Steel works & CRM Bara 3. Customer 3.1. Compliance to all Customer requests in terms of Cost, Delivery, Quality.& Timeline 3.2. Minimize the Job time through proper planning and coordination. 3.3. Compliance to Civil jobs related to MSDs, Relining, CRMS & SAMPARK 4. Finance 4.1. Ensure compliance to small nature of project undertaken for improvement 4.2. Prepare and ensure Compliance to R&M (B) Schemes, post repair certification 5. Internal business process 5.1. Compliance of repair & certification based on Civil Inspection and CRMS. 5.2. Study of drawings and basic designs. 5.3. Execution of the job as per plan and monitoring of progress and checking of work quality as per set norms. 5.4. Timely certification of bill 5.5. Adhering to environmental norms 5.6. Investigate all quality related problems and avoid re-work. 5.7. Manage Contractor workforce and their deployment and Contract Management 5.8. Monitoring and ensuring compliance to Sectional KPIs 5.9. Report preparation, abnormality report, provide guidance for repair technique, certification of repair job etc 6. Customer satisfaction 6.1. Giving technical suggestions to the customers in Civil engineering domain. Visiting customer site on regular basis to understand customer processes and concerns. Compliance to MOU. 7. People development 7.1. Develop relevant Positional Training modules. Ensure DM, TPM, TQM, SGA and Suggestion activities across the section. |

Desired Profile
|
Candidate having experience in the area of maintenance of
industrial civil building/office building/ equipment foundation/ RCC chimney
will be preferred. Knowledge of location/ nomenclature of Civil structures
inside works will be an added advantage.
