Developer, you lead the development and implementation of web-based
applications to new Google customers. You lead all aspects of web development,
requirements gathering, software development, testing, documentation, training,
implementation, ongoing support and maintenance for both in-house and
customer-facing web applications. You will work closely with a cross-functional
team of Googlers, using UI and functional specs/prototypes as input. Be part of

Google engineers don't simply build our consumer-facing
products--they also work to protect the users of those products. As an Ads
Review tech developer, you will create tools and platforms to allow the Review
teams to identify ways to review ads faster. You will work with Google
technologies spanning large scale data processing, clustering and data mining.
Your work will help maintain the reputation of Google's ad network. If you are
passionate about developing systems to have the best ads run fast at Google

Responsibilities
- Design, build and enhance Ad Review and related support tools and infrastructure across Google ad products.
- Work with analyst teams to detect and automate tasks by building front-end and back-end based solutions.
- Work on improving real time systems for large scale data processing, machine learning and clustering problems to identify review trends.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve Ads Review operation infrastructure.
Minimum qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in object oriented programming language Java, C++ or Python.
- Experience with data structures and algorithms.
Preferred qualifications
- MS degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
- Experience in numerical analysis, algorithms and data-mining.
- Fluency in multiple programming languages.
- Knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and other data storage solutions
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
Area
The Product & Technical Sales Support team serves as the
primary point of contact for our global Sales, Business Development, and
Partnerships teams to support our Sales organization across all products. We
provide tools so that our sales teams can focus on what they do best - helping
grow our customers' businesses. Our team collaborates with Google's engineering
groups to create technical solutions that enable our sales organization to
partner with our customers and engage our users.
