💼 Job Role: Software Engineer – LCI Team
Location: India (Remote/Hybrid options based on role)

🧠 Key Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer at Akamai, you’ll:

Design
and develop cloud-native applications using Scala, Python, Go, and other modern
languages
·
Prototype
scalable backend services that run on public and private cloud environments
·
Lead
the SDLC process with a strong focus on automation, CI/CD, and deployment best
practices
·
Participate
in concept-to-productization of innovative ideas
·
Collaborate
with team members and cross-functional stakeholders to write technical
specifications, code modules, and test strategies

Identify
and implement optimal tools from the CNCF landscape to address engineering
challenges
·
Engage
with end-users and product teams to ensure performance, reliability, and
security
✅ Candidate Requirements

Bachelor’s
degree in Computer Science or related discipline
·

to 2 years of relevant industry experience
·
Experience
building multi-tier distributed architectures in cloud-native or hybrid
environments
·
Familiarity
with tools, platforms, and technologies in the Cloud Native Computing
Foundation (CNCF) ecosystem
·
Understanding
of RESTful APIs, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code
·
Excellent
problem-solving skills and team collaboration mindset
·
Strong
written and verbal communication skills
