We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Data
Estate team in Bangalore, where you’ll develop powerful tools and user
interfaces that enhance data quality and operational excellence.
💼 Your Key Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer at Moody’s, you will:
·
Design,
develop, and maintain internal UI tools using frameworks like Retool, React,
Angular, or Vue.js
·
Implement
backend solutions, including API and Lambda development
·
Work
with SQL, PL/SQL, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB
·
Integrate
APIs and optimize performance across the stack
·
Participate
in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and product iterations
·
Translate
UX/UI mockups into responsive, scalable applications
·
Develop
scripts for build, deployment, and operational automation
·
Collaborate
cross-functionally with data engineers, analysts, and product teams
·
Continuously
improve software delivery and ensure code quality through best practices
🧠 What You Bring
·
Bachelor’s
degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s degree a plus)
·
Experience
in UI development using modern frameworks
·
Strong
backend development skills, especially with API creation and cloud platforms
like AWS
·
Proficiency
in SQL, PL/SQL, and NoSQL databases
·
Hands-on
experience with full stack development
·
Familiarity
with Agile methodologies and modern SDLC tools
·
Excellent
communication, problem-solving, and project ownership skills
