Detailed Job Description
Position: Level 1 Security Analyst
Function: KGS Response Team
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Bangalore
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Security Monitoring:
o Continuously
monitor SIEM tools (QRadar, Splunk, etc.) for security events
o Analyze
alerts from firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR systems
o Validate
and eliminate false positives
2.
Incident Response:
o Assist
in threat detection and remediation
o Follow playbook
procedures for standard incident types
o Escalate
complex incidents to Level 2 analysts
3.
Documentation & Reporting:
o Maintain shift
logs and tickets
o Document event
analysis and investigations
o Update knowledge
base (Confluence)
4.
Process Improvement:
o Identify
opportunities to optimize security processes
o Participate
in threat hunting activities
Skills & Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
