Walk-in-Screening Test/Interview will be held at Central Electrochemical Research Institute, Karaikudi on the following date(s) for selection of suitable candidates for the temporary positions to be engaged in various projects. Position & Stipend Date of Interview Essential Qualification Age Limit Project Assistant-III Rs.14,000/-pm ( 03 Positions)  * 23.01.2013 MSc- Microbiology/Life science / Biotechnology/Genomics/Marine Biology/Marine Science with 55% Marks (50% for SC/ST) 28 Years Project Assistant-III Rs.14,000/-pm ( 02 Positions) BE(EEE)/ B.Tech /BE (Metallurgy/ Chemical Engineering with 55% Marks (50% for SC/ST) 28 Years Project Assistant –II Rs.10,000/-pm (03 Positions) 23.01.2013 Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 50% Marks (45% for SC/ST) 28 Years Project Assistant-III Rs.14,000/-pm (19 Positions)  * 24.01.2013 MSc-Chemistry/Materials Science / Nano-science /Nanotechnology /Physics/ Industrial Chemistry with 55% Marks (50% for SC/ST) Desirable: Research experience in Electrochemistry/Knowledge in thin films/nanomaterials preparation and characterization. 28 Years * Two positions –place of work and posting will be in CSIR-CECRI, Mandapam Centre

General Conditions:

1.      Age relaxation will be given to SC/ST/PH/ Women candidate’s upto 5 years and 3 years for OBC and for Women candidates for all the above positions as per GOI instructions.

2.      Reservation: As regards reservation, if all things are equal, SC/ST/OBC candidates may be given preference over General candidates so as to ensure their representation.

3.      Candidate should possess the required educational qualification as on the date of interview.

4.      If the number of candidates is more, the candidates will be short listed for interview through a written test. 

5.      The positions are purely temporary for the duration of Project only. It would therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidates for claiming extension or absorption in CECRI/CSIR. 

Eligible candidates may appear for Walk-in-Screening Test / Interview with all original & attested copies of certificates and duly filled-in application format appended below at 09:00 AM on date(s) mentioned above at CECRI, Karaikudi.

INTERIM QUERIES WILL NOT BE ATTENDED TO.  NO TA/DA WILL BE PAID FOR APPEARING THE INTERVIEW.  THE DECISION OF THE DIRECTOR, CECRI REGARDING SELECTION WILL BE FINAL AND BINDING.
