How to identify & Review Fraud / Blacklisted / Fake Companies and practices 

 Dear All,

In todays' date lots of fraudulent activities goes on in the name of recruitment. I am listing a few activities which different companies undergo in the name of placements. If you also have faced similar types of situations then kindly give your feedback in the comments so that other candidates are cautioned of all the unethical practices which are happening in the name of placements.

Kindly Share your views openly to reach maximum people.

Fraudulent Placement Activity 1

The company will come to your college for campus placement drive. Will do the entire placement process. In the end they will issue offer letters also. But when the students go for joining either the office is not there or the company denies any such offer letters been given.

Fraudulent Placement Activity 2

The company charges a hefty amount on the name of training and probation and when the training period finishes, the company leaves you without offering any positions in their company or outside.

Fraudulent Placement Activity 3

Fake people visits the college campus for campus recruitment drive on the behalf of MNC's and selects students and also issue them offer letters. But when the student goes for joining they come to know, that MNC had never conducted a campus drive in the college.

Fraudulent Placement Activity 4

Some consultant charge a hefty amount on pretext of getting a job in MNC for you but at the end neither you get the job nor your money.

Fraudulent Placement Activity 5

You get hired for some portfolio (Eg Software Development) but when you join you get to work on a different platform (Eg Sales/Telecalling)

    in my college, company named spectrum planning services, vadodara (gujrat) come for placement and after selecting 34 students they issue them offer lrtters the very next day and demanding 7500rs. each as compensation for there projects if some student do not join the company. but after 3 months of placement drive, before the joining of three months the key people of companies mobile are switched off and after enquiry in their office it is observed that the company officials are not there and make the office locked 10-15 days ago. after than we all realized that it was a fraud drive and even my college also does not take any responsibility.

    I just wanna know is there any board called BOOSSTT (Board of occupational soft skills and technical training) which comes under ministry of human resource development ,Govt of India ??

      Its National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) which runs programs under the Ministry of HRD. Lately they have introduced a STAR scheme specially to train students in Soft Skills and other programs. Below find the link for it.

    in my college also , a company named pingakshu tech. came for placement drive also and after hiring the candidates they told them that they have to pay 35,000 as training fee for 6 months

      let me at the outset apologies for the inconvenience caused, as a director of the company i need to understand who asked for the amount to be deposited,As a company policy we do not charge any amount from our employees.

    Dear Sir,

    I got a mail that BOOSSTT is recruiting for Brand Marketing Executive. As a part of interview process they have taken a telephonic round and written test and asking to pay Rs.10000 deposit by shortlisting for HR round. Is it a genuine recruitment ?

    Even the same happened to me also...and the boosstt website shows its under construction..i have deposited the amount also....
    They have told that they will call for intetview...
    But till now nothing....

    Hai sir i got selected in sai business information system private limited. Delhi They said they will conduct the training in vijayawada after that you will be posting in chennai for that you need to pay some amount my question is this company fake or not ? I can't go to delhi How can i find that ?

    I wann to knw about pingashu company domiciled in Mohali. Coming since Monday for placement drive in our college.. There is sum thing out training for 6 months which is defined in their disclosure. Kindly tell me about the same. Is it is spam ?

    There is a consultancy which posts vacancy with the name of Gatelsoft consultancy. once you apply for the vacancy they will keep calling you every 5 mins to make sure that ur going for the interview, no matter what you answer you will be selected by the Hr who claims to be the HR for 10 MNCz they will perform a telephonic round right in their pathetic office and charge the candidated 500 for interview and 1500 for document verification, so a total of 2000 that is to be paid immediately for which a recipt for Caliber technologies is issued. If u keep calling them for months of offer letter they will arrange for a 1 day training which is nothing but cheap jokes and insult for how we look and dress up. and again we are charged rs 1000 for document verification and the entire process is done in laxmi nagar delhi in a highly confidential manner(more like drugs trade). they no matter how many times you call no body will talk to you. if u have really annoyed them to the limit they will fix for a joining for some bpo which is "mandatory" for 6 months no matter which profile you were interviewed for. And yes, the 1 day training is actually a trick to take back their recipt that they issued earlier.
