🌟 About the Role
As a Reference Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing
and validating the reference data lifecycle across banking systems. From
account set-up to data validation, system controls, and reporting, you’ll
ensure high-quality data standards that meet both operational and regulatory
requirements.
This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders including Front
Office, Middle Office, Compliance, Audit, and Regulatory teams, making it an
exciting opportunity to gain exposure across core banking operations.
📌 Key Responsibilities
🔹 Process
·
Input, validate, and approve account
opening & maintenance processes in downstream systems.
·
Monitor shared mailboxes for requests
and queries, ensuring timely response.
·
Adhere strictly to KOP (Knowledge
Operating Procedures) and SLAs with 100% accuracy.
·
Prepare daily EOD log reports and
contribute to team meetings and huddles.
·
Participate in employee engagement
and complete all required compliance trainings.
🔹 Control
·
Follow CAM KOP guidelines for
account-related processes.
·
Own issues until resolution and
escalate per the escalation matrix when necessary.
·
Perform thorough checks and maintain
strong 2-eye processing controls.
🔹 Change & Innovation
·
Identify automation opportunities to
streamline processes and reduce manual work.
·
Highlight gaps in controls and
contribute ideas for process improvements.
·
Support transformation initiatives
and regulatory-driven changes.
✅ Skills & Experience Required
·
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
·
0.6 to 6 years of corporate banking
experience.
·
Hands-on experience in systems such
as Clearvision, Globe, Consensys, GMI.
·
Strong knowledge of financial
products (Fixed Income, Derivatives, Futures, Options, Swaps).
·
Familiarity with commissions, fees,
and static data management.
·
Strong MS Office proficiency (Word,
Excel, PowerPoint).
·
Excellent communication skills for
stakeholder engagement.
·
Good understanding of front-to-back
process connectivity.
·
Ability to work under pressure and
across different time zones (rotational shifts).
