✈️ About the Role
United Airlines’ Maintenance & Engineering (Tech Ops) team
ensures our fleet is always ready to take customers to their destinations
safely and on time. We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to transform
our rich data ecosystem into insights and dashboards that improve operational
efficiency, flight reliability, and decision-making.
💡 Key Responsibilities
·
Design meaningful metrics and
KPIs that reflect operational health.
·
Build high-quality dashboards
and reports for leadership and frontline teams.
·
Curate data tables/views to
serve as a “single source of truth.”
·
Automate manual reporting
processes to boost throughput.
·
Partner with Tech Ops business
groups to design data-driven solutions.
·
Document data landscapes and
maintain an inventory of reports.
🎓 Qualifications
Minimum:
·
Bachelor’s in Math, Statistics,
CS, Engineering, or related quantitative field.
·
2+ years in analytics/reporting.
·
Strong skills in SQL, Python,
Spark (or similar).
·
Data visualization expertise
(Tableau, Spotfire, ggplot2, etc.).
·
Understanding of data structures
& visualization best practices.
·
Strong communication skills
(English).
·
Must be legally authorized to
work in India.
Preferred:
·
Master’s degree in a
quantitative field.
·
Prior airline operations or
aviation industry experience.
·
Familiarity with the data
ecosystem (engineering, storage, analysis, deployment).
·
Exposure to statistical &
analytical methods.
·
Front-end development experience
(JavaScript, D3, HTML, CSS).
