🚀 About the Role
Razorpay is seeking a seasoned professional to join as an Engineer – IT
Asset Management. This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of IT asset
management and procurement experience, strong knowledge of asset lifecycle,
compliance, budgeting, and collaboration with central procurement and finance
teams.
📌 Key Responsibilities
·
Asset Tracking & Management:
Maintain detailed hardware/software inventory with location, status, and
ownership tracking.
·
Lifecycle Management: Oversee IT
assets from procurement to retirement, including warranties, maintenance, and
disposal.
·
Software License Management: Ensure
compliance, optimize usage, and avoid overspending.
·
Compliance & Auditing: Conduct
audits, ensure adherence to policies, regulations, and security standards.
·
Procurement & Disposal:
Coordinate with procurement for new assets and manage decommissioning.
·
Collaboration: Partner with IT,
Engineering, Finance, and Procurement teams for smooth operations.
·
Documentation & Reporting: Keep
accurate records and generate asset usage & compliance reports.
·
Cost Optimization: Identify
opportunities to reduce costs and maximize IT investments.
·
Problem Solving: Troubleshoot IT
hardware/software issues and support end-users.
✅ Skills Required
·
Experience with IT Asset Management
(ITAM) software (e.g., Manage Engine or similar).
·
Strong in inventory management,
compliance monitoring, ticketing tools, and data analysis.
·
Knowledge of hardware (servers,
laptops), networking, and storage systems.
·
Excellent communication and
collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
🎓 Qualifications
·
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer
Science, Business Administration, Commerce, or Science.
·
Minimum 6 months of IT Asset &
Inventory Management or Procurement experience.
·
Strong negotiation and vendor
management skills.
